12/12/09: 45 Grave has a new bassist, Brandden Blackwell.
Brandden is replacing Lisa for the 2010 tour season.
Due to a family emergency,
Lisa inform me, in Sept. that she was stepping down
and not able to perform with 45 Grave. This was a difficult
choice for her to make. We'll miss her
and understand what she is going thru.
She's still part of our family and support her.
All the best to her and her family.
Lisa's last show was the Grove of Anaheim. :(

We've got a little nugget of exciting news for you as
Night of the Demons director and co-writer Adam Gierasch
has e-mailed us a list of bands being used for the
forthcoming remake that stars Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth,
Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, Jonathan Beach, Michael Copon,
Tiffany Shepis and Edward Furlong.

along with a brand new exclusive still featuring Linnea
Quigley's cameo by reading beyond the break.
In the film arriving in theaters October 9th, Angela Feld is
throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties
at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where
dark events transpired almost a century ago. But when
the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela
and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex and
Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela
make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events
start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously

One of the biggest highlights for the FANGORIA WEEKEND OF HORRORS
was the sneak peek first look at the upcoming NIGHT OF THE DEMONS
remake, which took place on Saturday, April 18th. On stage to talk about the film
was director/co-writer Adam Gierasch, (from left to right) producer Greg McKay,
actresses Bobbi Sue Luther, Shannon Elizabeth, Tiffany Shepis
and co-writer Jace Anderson.
(Monica Keena [far left] eventually joined the group half way through the panel.
Gierasch kicked off the panel serious, by trying to explain that the movie
is actually a film about battling personal demons.
"Ok, it's not. It's a movie about f***ing demons, OK?"
Everyone on stage then began talking a bit about the origins of the project,
and their characters in the movie. Shannon Elizabeth couldn't remember
the name of her character (Um, Angela?As in the lead of all the
NIGHT OF THE DEMONS movies?), but had a great experience
portraying the "bad girl" for a change. Tiffany Shepis promised that the
pivotal role of "Door Girl Diana" would totally rock us.
The group then showed off 2 exclusive clips from the movie itself. The first featuring
a demonized Michael Copon (as Dex) having sex with his girlfriend (Diora Baird)
and in essense making her demonized once he ummm... parked it in the rear
if you know what I mean. The second clip took place in an underground lair
where Monica Keena, Edward Furlong and John Beach
are surrounded by several demonized party-goers while
attempting to escape the grounds.
The clips definitely made me excited for the movie itself. Cool looking demons?
Hot chicks? Halloween party? Punk rock soundtrack?
Demon anal sex? A confirmed Linnea Quigley cameo? I'm sold.

05/01/09: The past two weeks have been a busy, crazy time. Helped out Fangoria and played on Friday night. A very fun group came out and told me the set was too short. Met alot of fun people and hung out at the merch booth for the weekend. We were next to Bill Mosley. Took alot of pics signed alot of vinyl.
Finished up the vocals for Night of the Demons. That's almost done. 8 hours of screaming. i think you'll like it.
Plus new t-shirts designs are coming out. See you at the shows.
Sounds like an Europe tour is being planned and more dates in the states.

4/14/09: Just added. On Friday, April 17th, 45 Grave will be performing @ Fangoria!
Friday night there will be a Fashion Show after the convention in the ball room
featuring designs from Fierce Couture and Junker.
Live performances by 45 Grave and very special guest!
Hosted by the lovely Miss Katonic!
Also, there will be a panel on the Night of the Demons remake
at Fangoria weekend of Horror's @ the L.A. Convention Center on
Sat. @12:15pm.
Several cast members from NOTD will be there.
Rumor has it that the teaser trailer will be released then.
Maybe we will be seeing a trailer or clips online soon!!

I was approched to work on a horror movie soundtrack for a remake of the 80's film,
Night of the Demons.
So I'm submitting a few songs.
The footage that I have seen is fun. heh heh

a helmer with one previous credit to his name in "Autopsy" starring Ashley Schneider.
Okay, maybe the 1988 horror flick Night of the Demons isn't exactly a classic. Especially if you consider that it didn't even make it to Matt's list of Cool Horror Films of the '80s. But when has fan indifference ever stopped Hollywood from doing a remake? Shock Till You Drop is now reporting that casting has been finalized for the update of Kevin Tenney's horror-comedy hybrid. According to Shock, Diora Baird (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Shannon Elizabeth and Monica Keena (Freddy vs. Jason) have all signed on the dotted line for the remake,
with Mother of Tears scribe Adam Gierasch at the helm.
If you aren't familiar with Night of the Demons, here is a quick primer: Ten teens in the tradition of "stupid teenagers in danger" films everywhere decide to have their Halloween party at an abandoned funeral home called Hull House (get it? It's like Hell...spooky). After performing a séance, a demon is awakened that possesses the party hostess, and then it's only a matter of time until they are offed in a variety of gruesome ways. Shock's sources claim that Elizabeth will take over the role of the possessed party hostess, Angela, and I can only guess that the other two will be adding to the body count.

Suzanna Sims, RIP ~*~ my mom
1928-2006
I just found out a few days ago that my mother, Sue, past away Nov. 9, 2006.
The hospital didn't inform me.
So I'll be away for a bit taking care of my mother's affairs.
The nursing home didn't realize that I wasn't inform.
My mom lived with me since 1991, after my aunt Margie passed away.
She was put into a nursing home when her health was failing for the last year.
I'll miss her.
If you knew her, she supported the scene.
You could have a meal or sleep over at their place.
They never turn anyone away. This went on for years after I left home.
Plus, they threw the best parties.
Both my aunt and mom went to the shows.
My mom had fire engine red hair for a bit.
But she went back to black. They both support my choice.
We had our ups and downs.
You can discover punk at any age.
